Keeping the Faith While Teaching the Faith – Steve Angrisano A highly effective hour designed especially for experienced church workers with a little humor and genuine appreciation for what ministry professionals do for the church, this session is a great spiritual boost for anyone teaching the faith. To be “around” faith is not the same thing as having faith. With great spiritual and practical suggestions on keeping our own faith strong, this workshop is designed to keep us from mistaking our own spiritual journey with our frequent professional “near faith experiences”! 9. Preaching and Teaching through the Kerygma – Jamin Herold This breakout will explore the ideas of what we teach and preach, and how to transform teaching and preaching to truly reach those we are ministering to. Jamin Herold, Executive Director of Parish Life and Lay Leadership, Diocese of Kalamazoo, will discuss how any topic of faith can and should be presented through the lens of the Kerygma. This session will help us transform from laying out a set of rules to join the Catholic club to truly building relationship with Jesus through every time we teach and preach. 10. Using Your Story to Reach Fallen Away Catholics – Dr. Leonard DeLorenzo This breakout will explore the way we talk to those who have fallen away from the faith, and to others who may not be Catholic. Presentation will also be made about the universal truths of the Church, how these truths are unchanging, and how these Gospel truths provide joy and allow us to navigate and encounter any cultural climate. 15. 19.  Caminando con la Familia (Walking with the Family) – Fr. FAQs  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
