Our second event was held at Ipswich Town Hall on March 15th with 246 attendees making it on the day at The Corn Exchange and this year we've chosen to stay at the same venue for 2020 but with a bigger and better room for the second track, the Council Chmaber, Gallery 3 and more space for workshops too! dev://east 2018 & 19 were one day developer conferences in Ipswich with inspiring talks on technology application from speakers who work and live locally in the East of England who work or have worked for organisations such as Microsoft, Pycom, Couchbase, NASA JPL, Oracle, Derivco, British Antarctic Survey and more. dev://east 2020 is back but bigger with a larger second track and at workshops throughout the day included in the price of your ticket.  We're keeping our People and Teams Track in the Main Hall where you will hear from our Keynote Speakers too. We're also keeping our dedicated software and technology development track Bits & Bytes, but in a bigger and better room - the chamber with Gallery 3 providing a breakout space for attendees and the exhibition area.  Gwen Diagram, Mark Heckler, Claire Risebrough and Matthew C. Applegate will all be back for 2020, along side some fresh and familiar faces such as Rob Blackwell. Join our mailing list on our website to be kept upto date with the latest news from dev://east and follow us on twitter for announcements about our events in the U.K.  We feel that having a focus on supporting developers, technologists, designers and any other members of the Tech Community with Mental Health is very important. The Technology Sector has one of the highest rates of mental health issues out of the sectors, and we hope that by continuing discussion around this and other issues with our people and teams track, we will play a small part in supporting the local community to help face and tackle this issue together as well as highlighting the wonderful work of our local tech CIC's that are supporting the next generation of technology scientists to get started.
