Give Back to the Community
As we serve runners and the
community, we strive to donate 50% of each race’s profit to the community
Childrens Hospital or other charity.

Terry Trueblood Recreation Area is a local gem.  Located on the outskirts of Iowa City, and just 3 miles from the University of Iowa Campus its is an ideal venue for this epic 5k run/walk with beautiful views of the lake just beyond its doorstepEvent details and schedule

Friday August 28th

• Packet Pickup (Time & Location e-mailed to registered athletes) 

• All athletes are encouraged to pick up their packet, race shirt and number prior to the morning in order to avoid longer wait times.

• Participants will be encouraged to share “Your Story” at Packet Pickup uploaded to our URUN4 YouTube Channel.

Saturday August 29th

• 7:30am        Day of Packet Pickup

• 8:40am        Check Presentation to Children’s Hospital

• 8:50am        Race Day Instructions

• 8:55am        National Anthem

• 9:00am        Race Start (Runners)

• 9:05am        Race Start (Walkers)
