Arts Alive presents “A Chair Affair Fundraiser”
Arts Alive is seeking artists to transform chairs into art pieces!
The Concept: Individuals and businesses are asked to find a chair and upcycle, recreate, embellish and turn into something amazing! Theme it any way you want! Your creation(s) will then be placed in an art installation in the Tibbits Art Gallery, 14 S. Hanchett St. in Coldwater, and listed online to be sold in a silent auction. All proceeds will benefit Arts Alive for the continued promotion of community art events, exhibits and arts education within Branch County.
Cost is $10 Per Entry; Limit 3 entries per person. People’s choice cash prizes awarded to entries with the highest bids.
TIMELINE of FUNDRAISER
Nov 16-20 drop off chairs at Tibbits Opera House (by appointment M-F 9-5; all entries due by 5pm on Nov 20)
Nov 23 Entries will be posted online
Dec 7-11 Appointments available soon to view entries in person at the theatre
Nov 23-Dec 12 bidding online (link posted here on Nov 23); final bids Sat Dec 12 at 8pm
Dec 14-18 top bidders pick up this week
